Noah's Legacy Lives on through the Noah's Gift Grant Program for Teens
Noah was a vibrant and passionate young man. He lived life to the fullest through travel, sports, his big heart, and his giving spirit.
At the time of his passing, Noah was a junior at Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers, Florida, and a defenceman on the Midget U-18AA team in the Florida Junior Everblades hockey program. Noah was a graduate of the Sanibel School, the Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Hernando Middle School in Hernando, Mississippi. Noah was active in youth hockey programs with both the Junior RiverKings and Junior StreetKings while at HMS.
Noah loved hockey and skating. He also enjoyed skim boarding, surfing, fishing, hiking, shooting, white water rafting, parasailing, rock climbing, skydiving, and all things extreme and outdoors. Noah loved to travel, and he spent a great deal of time in Canada, Mexico, and the southwestern United States.
Noah's Gift is dedicated to bringing joy into the lives of young people, as Noah brought joy to the lives of so many.
Noah's Gift was created to inspire and reward deserving young people with the gift of an extraordinary experience that was of interest to 16-year-old Noah Costa at the time of his death. His interests were as wide-ranging and fun as his personality: playing hockey, traveling, hiking, water sports, skydiving, and much more.
Noah's Gift makes grants to deserving teenagers to pursue extraordinary experiences. These grants are made possible through sponsors and participants of our annual fundraiser, a 5K Run-Walk-Skate held in Noah's memory.
The Noah's Gift Endowed Fund is housed at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, 315 Losher Street, Suite 100, Hernando, Mississippi 38632.
